The Federation was formed through an agreement between the cradle of human civilizations Prime and several other alien worlds. Originally three systems strong, the Federation today is a union of over two hunderd systems.
The Government of the Federation resides on its Capital of Prime. There the Senate work with the President to govern the union. Federation members have access to the largest free market in the galaxy, a stable centeralized currency, and the might of the Grand Army of Federation.
The Federation maintains active alliences with various neutral third-party trade organizations. All systems are granted a level of autonomy. Every member is granted a seat in the Federation Senate.
